- Coloring Book 2.0 is an electronic coloring book with a nifty interface, lots of
- fun sounds, and animations. Children choose a color from a large pallette
- of colors by clicking on the desired color. Clicking on empty shapes in the
- pictures causes the shapes to be colored. Clicking on some objects causes
- sounds and animations to play. Every time the color is changed one of
- many amusing sounds play. There are many pictures to color including a
- set of mosaic tiles with which any picture can be created, a shapes page
- where children can do more than color, and a Nite Lite backlit peg board
- simulation.
-
- Thanks to all of you who sent in your shareware fee for version 1.0 and 1.1.
- Usually the payments came with a brief note describing how much fun your
- children and grandchildren were having with the program. It made my day
- to find a thankyou and a check every now and then in the mail. I even got a
- few notes from the children themselves, what a joy that was!
-
- The net result is that you kept me psyched up to expand upon the good
- start of Coloring Book 1.1.
-
-
- NEW in COLORING BOOK 2.0
-
- Now you can print the pages which have been colored, by selecting PRINT
- from the FILE menu.
-
- There is a PARENTS menu with general help and page-specific help.
-
- One of the new pages creates an environment where simple shapes can be
- created, moved, grouped and colored. This page is a lot of fun even for
- adults.
-
- Another new page contains a old-fashioned railroad engine with lots of fun
- embedded animation and sound.
-
- And another new page features three icecream cones and a cherry which
- can't decide which cone it belongs on.
-
- More animation and sounds have been added so that every page now has
- some “magic”.
-
